What determines the pay and commission basis?
Open “Payroll”, select the month and team member. Check the basis, commissions and “Unallocated amount” before approval; the calculation depends on Visit finalization.
This feature is available from the SALON plan.
For owner, manager · Updated
Step by step
- 1
Open Payroll
In the Browser panel, go to Payroll.
- 2
Choose the month
Select the month you want to calculate.
- 3
Choose a team member
Open the calculation for the right person.
- 4
Check what counts towards commission
With Visit finalization on, payments from completed, finalized appointments count. The Finalization date in the salon’s time zone sets the month. With it off, service and product values from completed appointments count by the day they took place.
- 5
Compare the amounts
Check service and product values, total turnover and commissions. Payments are split proportionally: for 800 PLN of services and 200 PLN of products, a 900 PLN payment gives 720 PLN for services and 180 PLN for products.
- 6
Check amounts without a split
If you see Amount without split, correct the appointment details before approving the calculation.
- 7
Save the calculation
After checking the details click “Save changes” to save edits. To approve the calculation, click “Approve payroll”.
Good to know
- General appointment-value statistics still use saved prices, so they can differ from payment turnover.
- Payment changes update a calculation that has not been approved yet. Approved amounts stay as saved.
When something does not work
- If a payment cannot be split between services and products, it appears as Amount without split and the appointment data must be corrected before approval.
- Only when Visit finalization is on does a finalized appointment with no recorded payment add nothing to the payroll basis. With the feature off, completed appointment values are used.
- Payroll access depends on the salon plan and permissions.
