How do I finalize an appointment and record payments in the Mobile app?
Start a scheduled appointment, open its details, select Finalize appointment, set the date, add payments and select Save.
This feature is available from the SALON plan.
For owner, manager, reception, stylist, assistant, salon team · Updated
Step by step
- 1
Start a scheduled appointment
When the appointment is Scheduled, start it from Schedule or Start first. Finalization is available for an In progress or Completed appointment.
- 2
Open finalization
For an In progress appointment or a Completed appointment without saved finalization, select Finalize appointment in its details. For a Completed appointment with saved data, open the Edit appointment pencil and then select Edit payment. Someone with view-only access selects View finalization.
- 3
Check the details and date
Check the client, service, visit total and salon currency. For a new finalization, Finalization date uses the salon’s current date.
- 4
Add or correct payments
Add, change or remove payment rows. Use each method only once. Payments can be empty or partial.
- 5
Check the summary
Compare the visit total, Payments recorded and Difference. The difference shows what is missing or recorded above the visit total.
- 6
Save
Select Save. One finalization save changes the appointment to Completed, then appointment details, lists and Schedule refresh after a successful save.
Good to know
- Visit finalization appears only when the feature is available to the organization and salon plan.
- Payments can be empty or partial, and Difference is informational and does not block saving.
- An inactive method can remain on an earlier payment, but you cannot add it to a new record.
When something does not work
- You cannot finalize a Scheduled appointment until you start it.
- Cancelled, withdrawn, no-show and moved appointments cannot be finalized.
- Editing depends on the role, appointment update access and the 24-hour window for your own appointment.
- In read-only mode you can view finalization data, but you cannot save it.
